Invisible Highways
April 4, 2026 • resilience
Beneath our borders, ancient highways pulse with life. Whales trace blue corridors through ocean depths. Birds navigate golden flyways across continents. Jaguars walk emerald paths through forests that span nations. Butterflies cross borders they'll never know exist. This week, 130+ nations agreed to protect these invisible highways — blue corridors for sea turtles, flyways for migratory birds, cross-border connectivity for wildlife on land and sea. The true geography of the living world was never drawn by us.
